Good people

Stumbled across this article tonight. Sweet story about how a large airline pilot stuck out his neck, compromised his flight schedule, and put himself in a position to deal with hundreds of disgruntled customers just to do what he thought was the right thing for a stranger. Another reason why I love to fly Southwest.

Take a few minutes, read the article.

Hope for Haiti Now

I love when people put their celebrity to good use... Like this.

The Hope for Haiti Now campaign has really been heartwarming. There are good people out there, sometimes you just have to give them the chance to show it.

If you are looking for a way to support the relief in Haiti, but just haven't found the outlet to do so yet, here is another option- iTunes has compiled an album of all of the performances from the Hope for Haiti Now Telethon and 100% of the proceeds will all go towards relief efforts in the midst of the devastation. You can buy the whole thing for just $7.99 or pick and choose any of the $0.99 each songs. Whatever you do, the money will all go to aid. Love that.

So, if you really want to help in some way and you just so happen to love music, this iTunes download is the way to go.

Some of my favorites: Mary J. Blige, Hard Times Come Again No More; Christina Aguilera, Lift Me Up; Madonna, Like a Prayer; Justin Timberlake, Hallelujah; Jennifer Hudson, Let It Be...

Just can't get Haiti off my mind or heart. I have been trying to find any way, be it large or small, to do my part. So, if music is your thing & your looking for your way to help, make this your contribution.

Heart with Haiti

Yesterday, today, and I am sure for many days to come, my heart is and will be with Haiti.

I can't shake the pictures. I am glued to the news. & then I feel absolutely helpless after watching.

Pray without ceasing. Pray for wisdom for those making decisions on how to proceed from this point. Pray for healing of those injured. Pray for peace and comfort for the lives lost and for those mourning their loss. Pray for diligence for those trying to get in to the devastation to provide aid. At the risk of sounding repetitive, let me just say once more: Pray.
